Mobile Alabama Market Report

Well the overall market seems to gaining some momentum. Office sales have doubled in February from the month before. And this was done before halfway through the month.

Rates are still low, and there are some awesome mortgage programs to look into. It's going to be a buyers market for a while since there is so much inventory left on the market.

NOW is still a GREAT time to buy.

Busy weekend planned in the Real Estate world.


I had planned on going the family farm to do some visiting, but I guess I'll just have to put that off while business is hot. I have two new buyers that i'll be showing to in the West Mobile area. Hopefully we can find something they will love. I'll  keep you posted on what happens. Wish me luck.

QR Codes... Awesome new Real Estate tool.

You are probably wondering what that square print is to the right of this blog. Well that is a QR code. Also known as a quick response code. These tags are meant to be scanned by free QR code scanners that you can find on your mobile phone app store. These QR scans can be linked to websites, blogs, and other sites. For instance if you were to get the free app, scan my tag to the right, it would take you to my Remax website. I'll be putting QR scans on my for sale signs so people driving by can scan the sign and get more info for each individual home. I'll set up sites for individual listings with more pictures and information. Kind of like digital flyers. If you wanna know more, just ask, but I'm still learning about these codes as well.

Bloger McBlogington

I'm really new to this but I have enjoyed setting up the blog. I'd like to become the best blogger I can, but it seems that I always get writers block! I can't think of what I want to talk about when I sign on, but when I'm riding down the road in my car I have a whole page of things I want to talk about. I think I'll start reading other real estate blogs to see what other people are doing, yeah that's what I'll do!!!! Until then........ ADIOS

Accepted offer

So I was just informed that an offer I made for some clients was accepted today. I wasn't really expecting them to accept so soon in the negotiating process. Sure does feel good to have such happy and excited clients. This is the part of my job that I love the most.

End of the day conclusion...

I really enjoy ending my night with brainstorming about things I'm planning on doing the next day. I know tomorrow should be some what busy. I got two offers accepted today that I've been working on for a day or so now. So I'll be doing paper work until I show more homes at 3:00.

I've been showing in Midtown and I love it there. I wish I could move to Midtown but my wife wants to be close to her work, so I guess we'll stay in West Mobile for now.

Blog, Blog, Blog......

So I really want to start blogging, but I'm not sure quite what I want to write about. I guess I'll just tell about my day.


Today started off pretty good, I met an awesome client and showed a couple of properties that he really liked a lot. Hopefully he'll decide to make an offer on one of the 25 homes I have showed him in the last few days. After I left my showings I headed to the office where I gave a lunch and learn class to some agents who wanted to learn how to start a blog, and how to post links on Facebook.

I look forward to the rest of the week. I can see the all hard work is starting to pay off. I have about 5 qualified buyers I'm working with right now. Wish me luck!!

What to do next?

So I seem to always be looking for the next  Real Estate buyer or seller. I find myself getting lazy at times and doing the old, non original techniques that haven't really panned out before. Then, sometimes, I get a brilliant Idea about some new marketing or advertisement deal that just may push me to the top. This week's idea has been Zillow.com. I checked out zillow because it was the number one real estate tool app on the Iphone app store. I started checking out what it had to offer and I was pleasantly surprised. I started a free account with them which was pretty easy, and right away I was getting info on other homes for sale by owner in the area and other agents out of the area who could possibly send me referrals.

I'll comment back later on how zillow is going. The way I look it it, its just another useful tool to get my name and listings out there.
